Garcia Customs Zulu – Seigaiha (Custom)
Modern-day Zulu
Javi Garcia is a name to remember. Combining his roots as a designer with his apprenticeships under not one, but two of the greatest knife makers of our generation – Enrique Peña and Jared Oeser – Javi brings different worlds to create his own unique creations.
Built for everyday finesse and function, the Garcia Customs Zulu features an impeccably hand-ground CPM-Magnacut Zulu blade. Inspired by the Zulu spear used by the warriors of the Assegai tribe, the Zulu blade first appeared in a 1920s Schrade Catalog and is one of the most functional and visually appealing shapes.
A modern classic, this carefully contoured slip joint features a lightweight micarta handle engraved with the traditional Japanese Seigaiha wave motif, which is a potent symbol of progress and potential. Not only is it visually stunning, but the engraving also helps enhances the overall grip and handling.
Handmade individually in Javi’s shop in central Texas, the Garcia Customs Zulu combines the time-tested functionality of a traditional knife put together by a master’s eye and hand. Small, sharp, and sublime, this heirloom-quality Zulu is yours to own, wield and pass down to the next generation.
