Jared Oeser Tengu OS Framelock – CopperMai & Titanium (Custom)
The Bladed Sentinel
Jared Oeser is the epitome of the modern master. Daring in design and unerringly precise in execution, he combines the best of old-world craftsmanship with new-age flair to create some of the most highly sought-after custom blades today.
Tengu translates to “Heavenly Sentinel” in Japanese and is a legendary creature found in ancient Japanese folklore – and this bad boy certainly lives up to its name.
A Tengu with a difference, the Oeser Tengu OS Framelock departs from the original front flipping Tengu in preference of a sturdier framelock construction. What’s more, the OS stands for “Oeser Size” and is slightly larger than the Tengu flipper – packing more bite and punch with every cut.
The star of the show is the satin-finished, compound–hollow-ground CopperMai tanto blade, which features some of the most eye-catching grain and distinctive patterns. The stunning swedge and convex-ground tip enhance strength and stability, while the straight edge works wonders at all manners of EDC tasks.
Compact in the pocket yet big in hand, the Oeser Tengu OS Framelock features a deceptively simple yet highly ergonomic handle made from titanium with a hardened lockbar insert. What’s more, the CopperMai blade is further accent by a matching floating CopperMai backspacer and titanium pocket clip.
Light enough to carry anywhere and beautiful enough to never appear threatening – the Oeser Tengu OS Framelock is the perfect gentleman’s knife that’s fit for duty in both the office and the field. If you’re looking for your forever knife – this might just be it. Fair warning, Jared’s masterpieces are always in high demand. So make your move now before it’s gone for good.
