Michael Morris Knives Friction Folder – Micarta (Custom)
Sleek, Simple, & Sharp
The friction folder was one of the first folding knife designs made by man. Bringing a modern touch to this time-tested design, the Michael Morris friction folder is a refreshing reinterpretation of this mechanically elegant and highly functional blade.
Handmade in the USA from Simonds-brand steel files, and tempered down to around 58-60 RC, the Michael Morris friction folder features your choice of a beautifully ground, black oxidized Wharncliffe or modified spear point blade that excels at all sorts of everyday tasks imaginable (from cutting down boxes to preparing lunch).
What’s more, is the extended tang also double as a bottle opener (to crack open a cold one when the deed is done). Intentionally compact, it’s small and lightweight enough to carry around unnoticed, yet rugged and versatile enough to take on all manner of everyday tasks.
Designed to stand the test of time, the lightweight Micarta scales provide incredible strength and durability without ever weighing you down. With a Michael Morris friction folder, you can rest assured in the fact that you have in your hands one of the most useful and utilitarian blades ever put together.
