Trevor Burger Atlas CFL – Carbon Fiber Inlay (Custom)
Blade of the titans
A second-generation knife maker hailing from an illustrious line of custom knife makers, Trevor Burger leverages on his extensive experience and expertise at Burger & Sons Fine Custom Cutlery to create a true masterpiece of his own making – the Trevor Burger Atlas CFL.
Forgoing trends and focusing on the time-tested philosophy of doing more with less, the custom Atlas CFL features a compact and streamlined design. The versatile drop point or sheepsfoot blade, the blade is made from M390, which is a super-steel created by Bohler in Austria and takes a superbly sharp edge and holds on to it due to its high concentration of vanadium and chromium carbides.
The ball bearings allow for silky-smooth action, and the blade is easily deployed single-handed using the flipper tab, which doubles as a guard to prevent your hand from sliding over the blade when engaging in heavy-duty cutting duties.
The 3D machined titanium handles with striking carbon fiber inlays are feather-light, durable, and fill the hand confidently, while the titanium backspacer gives strength and rigidity while keeping things lightweight. Finally, Trevor’s maker mark (TBC) is engraved into the lockside of the handle as a stamp of his unerring craftsmanship.
A true titan of a blade, the Trevor Burger Atlas CFL is a model of finely-tuned function and form. If you’re looking for a clean and classy everyday carry blade that’s equal parts high-performance slicer and bonafide work of art, the Trevor Burger Atlas CFL is the heirloom-quality blade that you can pass down from one generation to the next.
